About VPS for Devs

VPS for Devs is an independent review site focused on one thing: helping developers find the right hosting for their stack.

We cover VPS providers from a technical perspective — Node.js APIs, Discord and Telegram bots, self-hosted AI tools, and automation scripts. Every review is based on real deployments and community benchmarks, not provider marketing copy.

What we cover

Our approach

We benchmark what developers actually care about: CPU performance under sustained load, disk I/O on real workloads, network latency from different regions, and support response time when things go wrong. Specs from the provider's marketing page are noted — but we always cross-reference with community benchmarks and independent developer reports.

We have no preferred provider. If a host is overpriced or underperforms, we say so.

Editorial standards

Every review is written for developers making production hosting decisions. We separate first-hand deployment notes, public benchmark evidence, provider documentation, and community reports so readers can understand how each recommendation was formed.

When pricing, hardware, regions, or product names change, we update the relevant page and show the modified date on the article. Corrections are welcome through the contact page.

Who maintains the site

The site is written and maintained by a backend developer who works with Node.js deployments, Linux VPS operations, reverse proxies, process managers, and self-hosted developer tools.
